The story of Jordan the 12 year old Collie gripped the hearts of the nation as we posted appeal after appeal to try and find him a home. He spent 500 days in the shelter waiting for someone to adopt him. One Saturday a family were booked in to meet Jordan and he got all dressed up hoping that they would love him as much a we did…but they never showed. 

When we posted a photo of him all dressed in his dickie bow telling our friends and followers that his family never showed up, Jordan’s story went viral. 

This book is the story of Jordan and it was written by Dave O’Kane and beautifully illustrated by Rebecca Walsh. We had no idea this beautiful book was in the making and when we saw it there were tears all round. Dave & Rebecca fundrasied to have it printed and presented it to the staff at the DSPCA. It is such a heart warming story of an old terrified dog who ended up in a shelter. It is a story of love, dedication and courage. 

100% of the proceeds for the sale of “Jordan’s Home” goes directly into the shelter to help the  thousands of animals we save every year.
