  • The DSPCA Mobile Veterinary Clinic offers a subsided veterinary service to those who are in receipt of Social Welfare Payments.
  • Please note this service is by Appointment only and proof of benefits must be supplied. To make an appointment please call 01-499-4703 and leave a voicemail with your name and contact number.
  • The Mobile Clinic can offer vaccinations, routine health checks and pre surgical check-ups
  • If your animal requires further treatment you will likely be referred to our shelter in Rathfarnham. Our shelter is open Monday to Friday 9-5pm – this is appointment based only
  • We do not have an out of hours service outside of the shelter opening hours listed above. MiNight Vet in Kildare provide emergency care, please check their website for their opening hours

When attending the clinic you must wait in your car, wear a face mask and follow the instructions given by our staff

 

Fees and Booking Information

  • Basic Check-up €25 (does not include medication)
  • Vaccination & Microchip €40
  • Vaccination €25
  • Microchipping €15

 

Neuter / Spays

Dogs

  • Neuter (male) €60.00
  • Spay (female) €80.00

 

Cats

  • Neuter (male) €40.00
  • Spay (female) €60.00

 

Prior to booking your animal in for any procedure or surgery, they must have had a recent check-up and been given a referral letter. These fees are not included in the neuter/spay costs listed above. All Veterinary fees and drugs are subsidised by the DSPCA and may be subject to change. If you require additional information please contact the DSPCA Shelter Vet Dept on 01 4994703

Please note All dogs being micro-chipped much be accompanied by their owner, along with photo ID and proof of address in compliance with new legislation.

 

TO NOTE :

  • For the Safety and comfort of both staff and clients, please ensure that’s dogs are on leads and if your pet is required to wear a muzzle, they must be fitted before you attend the clinic.  Cats must be in a carrier.
  • All Veterinary fees and drugs are subsidised by the DSPCA and may be subject to change
  • All dogs being micro-chipped much be accompanied by their owner, along with photo ID and proof of address in compliance with new legislation

The DSPCA mobile veterinary clinic offers an affordable veterinary service for people in receipt of Social Welfare Payments and are struggling financially to take care of their pets medical needs.
