Zara came into the NSPCA from another rescue in search of her forever home. She is a very nervous girl who needs time and patience to build her confidence. She is currently sharing her kennel with her pal Bailey who is giving her the courage and helping her be brave to tackle shelter life. Underneath her nervousness we are starting to see her giddy and playful side shine through. She is still a little unsure about getting too close but is being the bravest girl. She will need an experienced family who are used to nervous dogs and will be willing to commit to training, along with giving her the time and patience she will need to settle into a new environment. At just one years of age, she is in her teenage stage of puppyhood, she will benefit from training with her new family to help her settle and grow into a well rounded adult dog. Due to her nervous nature, she is best suited to a quiet home with teenagers or adults. Being a hound, she is an active breed with a strong voice who will need an active owner that will meet both her physical and mental needs. We feel she will need a confident doggie pal in her new home to help show her the ropes.
Can you give a timid girl the home she deserves?
