Star

Star came into the DSPCA through our inspectors in search of her forever home. She found shelter life stressful when first arriving. She was confused and did not want to be left alone. At 1 Years old, she is still a puppy and is a bundle of energy. She has the drive of a beagle with the quirks and personality of a bulldog. She will suit an active home that will commit to training to help her settle into a new environment and will provide her with the mental and physical stimulation she requires. She will need time and patience with her new family as she has been through so much for a young girl. She has a super playful and goofy personality. She loves her walks here at the shelter and is at her happiest when out with staff and volunteers exploring. She loves to pick up sticks a long the way to bring home with her. She would love if there was someone home a lot of the time in her new home to keep her company. She will need a home with an owner experienced with her breeds especially bulldogs and would be suited to a home with teenagers who are used to bigger bouncy dogs. She loves to run, chase and wrestle with her doggie pals so would be suited to live with another dog with similar energy and playstyle as her.

Here is some notes the foster send it to us:
“Just a few words on Star: she is an amazing girl. She is so much fun with a lot of go but happily settles in a routine. She loves her walks, loves a good wrestle with our dog Dakota and is just bursting with affection. She absolutely loves attention. She’d also cuddle you to death if you let her. So if someone out looking for endless cuddles, she’s the one. Crawling in and under blankets and throws you have on you for a sneaky nap I think was her favourite. She toilet trained no accidents at all.”
