Skittles

Skittles came into the NSPCA through our inspectors as sadly her owner could no longer care for her. On arriving to the shelter she was extremely nervous and frightened. She had completely lost her appetite and wanted to stay hidden. Over time she has gradually began to settle, gain her appetite back and became more confidence. She has been through so much as we would love to find her a forever home with an understanding owner who will give her the time and patience she will need to settle with a new owner and new environment. Jack Russells may be small in size but they have big personalities with bundles of energy and intelligence. Skittles would love an owner that will do some training with her to help her build confidence and bring her on lots of adventures. Due to her nervousness, she will be best suited to an experienced home with teenagers or adults and could live with another dog pending a dog meet.
