Rosie

Rosie came into the NSPCA as an owner surrender. She was originally adopted from our Longford Centre but sadly her owners could no longer care for her. She has the sweetest soul and is eager to please. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle with staff and volunteers. Although she is 8 years of age she still has plenty of energy and loves her walks. She is on a bit of a diet at the moment as she loves her food a little bit too much. Her love for food will be great for training with her new family. Shepherds are extremally intelligent and Rosie is no different. She loves to show off her tricks she knows. Rosie would be best suited to a home with teenagers or adults and a home where there is someone home during the day. She can get anxious when left alone so will need a family that will help her work on this and give her the time and patience she deserves. She loves her comfort and after a nice walk will settle up on the couch to cuddle. She would love an owner that will allow her to sleep near them as she likes the extra security of knowing you are near by.
