Pinny & Ginny

Pinny & Ginny are two guinea pig girls who were found abandoned all alone. Unfortunately we are seeing this more and more and the poor piggies are paying the price.

These two girls are really sweet but understandably a little nervous of people initially. We are confident that once they get to know that humans won’t hurt them, they’ll be little cuddlebugs!

Thank you for choosing to adopt a small animal from the DPSCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend guinea pigs be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 120 x 60cm.

Guinea pigs require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not just pets for young children to look after; all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.
