Meet Emma! This beautiful girl came into our care from another rescue, after sadly being surrendered. She was adopted and has spent some time in a home. She is now finding herself back in the shelter as she she can be travel sick when travelling in the car. When first arriving to the shelter, she could initially be a little shy with new people, but now she will be everyone’s best friend, wanting to stick by your side whatever you are doing. She is a massive foodie which will be great for training with her new family. Once Emma knows you, she is the biggest cuddler, wanting to snuggle into you as close as she can. We know she would love to find her own spot on the couch, next to her favourite people, where she can snooze away. She would love to find a home with someone home a lot of the time and will be happy to built her alone time slowly. She had had so much in her life and she now needs an owner that will show her commitment and consistency consistently. Emma has her giddy side, where she loves to play and chase her toys, especially fun food puzzles where she can work her brain and be rewarded with tasty treats. She also enjoys her walks, stopping for frequent rolls in the grass where she can, or investigating with her nose, and is very good on the lead. Emma could possibly live with another dog, pending a meet, or would happily lap up all the attention as the only pet in the home. She is best suited to a home with older children, as she at times thinks she’s a chihuahua when showing her affection, and may knock over little ones. Adopt Emma, and you will be greeted by those big, kind eyes and her excited wiggles every day.
