Everyone say hello to our little man Boop. Boop came into the shelter with another rabbit after their owner could sadly no longer look after them. They were not neutered so they needed to be separated. Boop has since been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and he is now ready and waiting to find his forever family! Boop lived with another rabbit so he could make a wonderful hus-bun to a lucky spayed female rabbit. He is full of character and super friendly and cuddley – just the best boy!
Thank you for choosing to adopt a small animal from the DPSCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 120 x 60cm for one rabbit with plenty of indoor free roam time.
Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.
All our rabbits are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
