Blake

Blake arrived into Dundalk Dog Rescue from Wexford pound. Since arriving back in February he has quite simply transformed. Blake arrived very stressed initially and would suffer from severe bouts of spinning. The amazing team at the Centre have been unwavering in providing him stability and reassurance – something which he desperately needed. And over the days, weeks and months, Blake has had significant improvements. He is at his most happiest on his walks .. and even happier on those magical trips to the beach – his absolute happy place – nothing as calming as the sea !!! Whilst our colleagues in Heathlands provided Blake the opportunity to be saved from the Pound, he is still left waiting for a suitable forever home to transpire. Blake has found kennel life so stressful. He is completely at ease when on trips away with awesome volunteers, who have worked tirelessly with Blake preparing him for his next chapter in life. He has been in foster with 2 other dogs for the last few months. His foster mam is doing a lot of great work with him, and got him an anti anxiety compression jacket which she says helps him. He is very noise sensitive and will need an experienced owner that will understand this and be willing to work with him to help him settle into his forever home. Please share Blake’s profile … we would love to find him a forever home, to give him the chance to experience a ‘normal’ life.
Please note, Brad is currently in the care of Dundalk Dog Rescue, and you can contact them directly on rehoming@dundalkdogrescue.ie to enquire about him.
