Updated Mobile Clinic Policy: All existing and new clients must agree to have their pet(s) neutered within the first year of registration. All mobile clinic clients must have their pet(s) registered with their own private vet and only 3 pets per household can be registered with the mobile clinic at any one time.

The DSPCA mobile veterinary clinic offers affordable veterinary services for people in receipt of Social Welfare Payments. Our mobile vet clinic carries out routine health checks, vaccinations and microchipping.

  • The DSPCA Mobile Veterinary Clinic offers a subsided veterinary service focused on preventative healthcare to those who are in receipt of Social Welfare Payments (proof of benefits must be supplied).
  • The Mobile Clinic offers vaccinations, microchipping and routine health checks.
  • A standard consultation is €30 (this does not include microchipping, medications or any further required treatments.
  • If your animal requires further treatment you will be referred to our shelter in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 on a case by case basis.

Am I eligeable to use this service

Our mobile vet clinic service is available to pet owners who are in receipt of certain means-tested benefits and who live in the Dublin area. You will be required to show proof of one of the listed means-tested Government benefits below to avail of our mobile clinic service.

Some Important Information

For the Safety and comfort of both staff and clients, please ensure that’s dogs have a secure collar and are kept on lead.

All pets being microchipped must be accompanied by their owner, along with photo ID and proof of address – i.e. recent utility bill.

All cats or small animals must be in a safe and secure pet carrier.

If your dog is required to wear a muzzle, they must be fitted before you attend the clinic.
