Welcome to the Lost & Found Pets section of our website. This has been set up so that we can post the lost & found pets that have come into the DSPCA in hope of reuniting them with their owners. This section is only for pets that are in our care at our shelter in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.

I have lost a pet

If your pet is missing you can complete a form so that we have all the details. Please note that the photo and details you send us will not be put on our website, they will be kept on our Lost & Found database and if a pet of the same description comes into our shelter which is based in Dublin 16, we will contact you.

I have found a pet

If you have found a pet in the greater Dublin area you can complete a form so that we have all the details. The photo and details you send us will not be put on our website, they will kept on our Lost & Found database and if we are notified about a similar missing pet we will contact you.

*Important Information: Under Irish Law all found dogs must be reported to your local dog warden service/dog pound. This information can be found through your local county council, also see helpful contacts below.

Below are found pets that are in the care of the DSPCA which is based in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. In order to reclaim your pet from the DSPCA, you must have proof of ownership, a utility bill with current address and photo ID.
