Ivy was brought to the DSPCA by our inspectors after she was left tied to the gates of the pound. She was one of the worst cases of neglect that we had seen in a long time. She was severely underweight, had hair loss, mange, muscle wastage, tooth decay, a large growth on her shoulder, her nails overgrown and she was extremely dehydrated. Ivy spent over 11 months under our care undergoing surgery and on-going treatment for her skin. She was cleared for adoption where she spent many happy months with her new family.
