Woodland Dog Walk

Sign up below and join our first annual DSPCA Woodland Dog Walk Enjoy a fun, sponsored dog-walk along the beautiful forest trails of Glencullen in the Dublin Mountains Way, South County Dublin. This family-friendly walk will take place on the morning of Saturday 21st September 2024 over an approx. 7 km stretch of the stunning Glencullen Woodlands up to Three Rock.

Choose your start time, when you register and join us for a fun morning in the beautiful Dublin woodlands. All dogs taking part in the event will receive a FREE DSPCA Bandana on the day! You don’t need to have a dog to join in on this event.

Starting at the GAP Centre in Glencullen, at the 3.6km half-way point you can chill-out with your pooch and take in the spectacular views over Dublin city and bay; before making your way back to base at the GAP Centre in Glencullen. We’ll be waiting for you at the finish line with a well-earned BBQ, thanks to our friends at GAP Kitchen Café. The goal of this event is to have a fun day out, while raising vital funds for the DSPCA shelter and to increase awareness of the benefits of exercising your dog on lead in woodland areas in a way that is safe for all forest users and the wildlife that we share it with. The event also aims to encourage all pet owners to Leave No trace.

Thank you to the Glencullen Adventure Park, Coillte and the Dublin Mountains Partnership for their support.
