Esme

Esme is a gentle petite little lady who came into the shelter with many other rabbits after being found living in unsuitable conditions. She was in a foster home over Christmas and just had the most wonderful time. She spend her days with the children playing with them, drawing with them and watching them play video games. She was always involved in everything! Her foster family gave her the most glowing feedback, especially for how good she was in a busy household. She will make such a lovely addition to a very lucky family.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a small animal from the NSPCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 120 x 60cm for one rabbit with plenty of indoor free roam time.

Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.

All our rabbits are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
