Justin and Joey are two brothers who originally came into the shelter when they were babies from another rescue. They were adopted and lived with a loving family but sadly they could no longer look after them so they are now back and waiting for a second chance. These boys are quite skittish if they don’t know you which is quite common with guinea pigs, however we’re sure once they’re settled in a secure home they’ll come out of their shell. Could you give these two the forever home they deserve?
Thank you for choosing to adopt a small animal from the NPSCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend guinea pigs be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 120 x 60cm for two guinea pigs with plenty of space for tunnels, hides and foraging spaces.
Guinea pigs require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.
