Work Experience

The DSPCA offers work experience for transition year work experience or community service students. It is a great way to get hands on experience on the work we do and to see if working with animals in the right career path for those thinking about a future in veterinary or animal care.

Unfortunatly, we have cancelled the TY programme for 2021 and will hopefully be running the January to June 2022 weeks. All weeks are already fully booked and there are a lot of people on the Waiting Lists. If you would like to add yourself to the waiting list for your chosen week for January 2022 to end of May 2022 you can do so at the link below.

Please Note: Bookings open in February each year and fill up very fast. If you are planning your Work Experience for 2022/2023 please make sure to get the dates for your weeks from your school by Christmas 2021. Check back to this page in December 2021 to put your name down on the “Register Interest” list.
