We Are Hiring - Full Time Payroll & Accounts Administrator
We are seeking to recruit a Payroll and Accounts Administrator with 2-3 years experience and an Accountant Technician qualification to join our dedicated team at the DSPCA in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. This is a full time position, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm with flexible/hybrid hours available who will report directly to the Financial Controller.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Processing of Monthly payroll using Sage software for approx. 80 staff including interaction with ROS, payroll reconciliations, Employee queries etc.
- Process bank transactions and bank reconciliations.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Producing weekly and monthly finance reports.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with the Monthly Management accounts and year end audits.
- Preparation and Submission of VAT3 returns.
- Maintaining fixed asset register.
- Cash and credit card reconciliations and lodgements.
- Ad hoc assignments within the Finance team .
Required key skills
- 2/3 years Payroll and bookkeeping experience essential.
- Accounting technician qualification an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of accounting systems.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail / Accuracy.
- Good Communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills.
