Our inspectors removed Lacey from a home where she was being kept outside with no food, water or shelter. She was severely underweight with muscle wastage and she was severely dehydrated. Lacey remained under veterinary care for over 4 months. She spent time in a foster home where she grew stronger every day. She gradually put on weight and grew in confidence. She returned to the shelter for regular weight checks and when she was cleared by our vets she returned for adoption. Lacey is doing great in her new home and growing more in confidence every day.
