This handsome boy was surrendered to DSPCA as sadly his owners could no longer care for him. Prince was very overwhelmed and nervous when he first arrived but he soon settled in.
Prince is an energetic boy and will make a great hiking partner for an active family who enjoy the outdoors. Being a Foxhound, we have learned over time that sadly foxhounds spend far longer than they deserves in rescues, we hope this wont be the case for this great boy. Foxhounds are extremely clever and food driven which makes them super easy to train. They are a social breed. Once they receive the right amount of exercise , they love nothing more than snoozing in their bed and make great family pets. Prince is very affectionate and would love to just cuddle up whenever he gets a chance! Prince currently has kennel cough so cannot live with a dog at the moment but in the future he would potentially love a doggie pal.
