Rio came into the DSPCA as an owner surrender due to his owner no longer being able to care for him. He is great bow and a firm favourite with our staff. He will need an experienced family that will commit to training to help him settle into a new environment. An active family who could take him on hikes would be his dream! He has spent some time out on foster and done really well. His favourite part was the coffee dates his foster family brought him on. He is so sociable with other dogs and has shared his kennel with many dogs that have now found their forever homes. We feel another playful dog of similar size in his new home would be perfect for him. He is best suited to a family with older teenagers and experienced with large breeds.
