Claude is one of our longest rabbits here in the DSPCA. He was adopted but unfortunately the family’s existing rabbit could not warm to him.

Claude is an indoor rabbit who will require regular brushing due to his coat type.

He is a very good boy and super fluffy so would love a home with people who will brush him regularly and give him lots of treats – especially fresh veggies like broccoli and cabbage!  He is a bit wary of people as he has lost some trust in humans but he’s slowly coming around. He deserves the best so we hope he won’t have to be here too long before the perfect family come for him.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a small animal from the DPSCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 120 x 60cm.

Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not just pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.

All our rabbits are spayed/neutered.
