Chestnut (18977)

This handsome chap is Chestnut. He came into the DSPCA as a stray. He has found shelter life quite stressful and is ready to find his forever home. His family should be experienced with dogs and willing to give Chestnut the time and space he needs to settle into his new home.

Chestnut previously spent time in a foster home. His foster family loved their time with him, here’s what they had to say about his stay with them: “Chestnut got on really well in the home. He absolutely loves people. Chestnut can be really affectionate, he adored having cuddles in the evenings by the fire. He was great on his walks too! It was such a pleasure having Chestnut for foster, he’s going to leave a lasting impression on our hearts but we know he’s going to have an amazing life with his forever family!”

This boy is a popular fella and he also goes for sleepovers with one of our volunteers, here is what she has to say about Chestnut: “Chestnut has my whole heart (and camera roll!) the best most precious boy. Only wants love and attention. So so gentle with everyone he meets. Loves his walks and treats, Great on lead and getting there with other dogs! Just likes to sniff and say Hi, a little bit more socialisation and he will be a social butterfly. A dream Doggie!”
