**SPECIAL APPEAL**
Artemis has spent 54 nights in the shelter and we can see that he is getting a little stressed and losing the cheeky sparkle he once had. He came into the shelter as part of our TNR (Trap Neuter Release) Programme to be neutered and released. However we could see that there was something special about this boy and that he wasn’t feral.
Our cattery team worked hard to help Artemis trust humans and to be relaxed around them and now all he wants is for you be near him so that he can come for head runs when he wants them. He has a great purr and he’s a stunning boy. Now he loves to have company so much that he doesn’t like it when you’re leaving him. This is something that his new owner will to understand and go slow with. Artemis has FIV which means that he can have a very happy live indoors and must remain an indoor cat. Providing him with lots enrichment and attention will be important for him. He also have a heart murmur which at the moment does not require any medication for but he may do when he’s older.
At 4 years old he is a very young cat and has a years of happiness ahead of him – we just need to find that someone special who will give him a chance and provide all the love that he missed out living as a stray cat
.
If you have experience with cats and think you can help bring that sparkle back into Artemis’s life then please come and visit him at the cattery – we are open today from 12-4pm
