May was found by the dog warden as a stray and brought to the pound. Our inspectors collected her and brought her back to the shelter for immediate veterinary care. Despite being severely emaciated, infested with fleas, starving and dehydrated, this little lady never lost her spirit. She was a wonderful patient and surprised all the staff and volunteers. May just wanted to be loved and cared for. She spent may weeks in a foster home returning to the shelter for regular vet checks. Her foster family fell in love with her and adopted her when our veterinary team gave her the all clear. She is enjoying a very happy life, one she deserves.
