This young boy is Pepe. Pepe came into our care through the inspectors and was finding the shelter quite an overwhelming place. He adores the people he has gotten to know but can be nervous meeting some people, mainly men. When in a situation he feels threatened he can behave in a defensive manner with new people but typically he is a fun playful, puppy like boy. With the people he meets, he grows attachments really quickly and would be perfect for someone who is home most of the time and looking for a loyal little companion. He will need a a quiet , patient and experienced owner when he is ready for his new home and an owner who will be willing to follow  the guidance of our team. He will not suit a home with children or children who visit regularly. Currently he is on foster with our trainer to introduce him to  the big scary world over time. Any potential adopters will be required to visit Pepe a number of times, his new home will also be required to continue on with training as part of his adoption and the DSPCA will be here for support and guidance. He is a clever boy and loves to learn, he is crate trained and sleeps in his crate over night with no issues. He is currently on foster with multiple dogs, big and small, so he could potentially live with another dog.
