Horse Aware Week 2021
We are very pleased to let you know that the second Horse Aware Week for 2021 will take place between the 13th - 23rd of October and will focus on the Clondalkin area in Dublin. Virtual talks will be held for the 5th and 6th class students in the local primary schools about responsible horse ownership, issues/needs of urban horses and various careers in the equestrian industry. We are delighted to be taking part in this event again and look forward to meeting lots of enthusiastic horse lovers.
Open Day
Clonadlkin Equine Club will holding an open day at their centre in Ballyowen Lane on Saturday the 23rd of October from 11am-3pm. Entry is FREE but you do need to register. Keep an eye on Clondalkin Equine Club - NEW Facebook page for registering.
What To Look Forward To
It will be a great fun day with talks and demos from Army Equitation School, the GARDA Mounted Unit, Master Saddler and the Irish School of Farriery. The DSPCA will have an information stand so be sure to drop by and say hello. SOLAS, Cherry Orchard Community Training Centre and others will also have information stands.
