This sweet lady is Francine and she is one of our longest residents. Francine was found as a stray back in January. Unfortunately for Francine she had skin cancer and had to have most of her ears removed. Skin cancer can be common in white cats and dogs and they should always wear sun cream. She was very lucky to have been found when she was as our vets were able to help her remove the cancer. Now she's one happy lady. Francine loves siting in a sunny spot and when you visit her in the cattery you'll find her lounging in the sunny corner of her pod enjoying the heat while stretched out on her dusty pink fluffy bed.
Francine has had a long road to recovery and now it's her time to find her very own sunny spot in her own home. She did go out to a home with another cat for a few weeks trial but we soon discovered that she likes to be the only cat in the home. Cats are such creatures of habit and they like what they like! She has the most beautiful soft fluffy white coat and loves being petted. She will make a really great companion in a quiet home where she can lounge about on her own window sill and enjoy watching the world go by. Do you have room in your heart and home for a sweet gentle girl like Francine?
If you are interested in adopting Francine, please register your interest before your visit to the shelter, it will speed up the adoption process. You can then visit her Tuesday to Sunday between 12-4pm and speak an adoption consultant.
