Sweet Albie came into the DSPCA as an injured stray after being dropped into a vets by a member of the public. He had a laceration on his leg, he was very underweight and had a flea infestation. He has now made a full recovery thanks to our veterinary team. He is the sweetest most gentle boy. Typical of lurchers he is very affectionate and loves his cuddles from staff and volunteers. When not getting cuddles you will find him tucked up in his bed having a snooze after a good zoom about. This boy deserves a comfy spot on a couch to cuddle beside his new forever family. Albie is very puppy like around other dogs and could potentially live with another dog in the future but at the moment he needs to be isolated from other dogs due to a cough.

Lurchers are one of the most sweetest breeds. They are all legs and love. They are known to be couch potatoes and this is true but only after they have been well exercised and given time for zoomies.
