Simon

Simon is one of three baby brothers who came into the shelter as part of an unplanned litter. Their previous family were told their two rabbits were females but unfortunately that was not the case! Simon is a tiny little boy who we suspect will be a Netherland Dwarf cross. He is much smaller than his photos suggest! Out of his litter, he has the biggest appetite and gorgeous blue eyes 🙂

When he is 6 months old, Simon’s new family must bring him back to the DSPCA to be neutered. This will be arranged with you when you adopt him and we will go through the process with you.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a small animal from the DPSCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend rabbits be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 120 x 60cm with plenty of indoor free roam time.

Rabbits require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not just pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.
