Blaine

Blaine

Hey friends! I’m Blaine. I’m the most adorable (self-confessed) older fella. I came to the DSPCA after I was found hanging with a group of wild cats. Although I wasn’t wild, I quite liked the life of solitude and peace from those pesky humans.
I lost count of how long I’ve lived there for, not because it was so long, but I’m a cat..don’t expect me to count! That’s your job.
I was caught by a lady who tricked me with some tasty food, but I was so grateful, although living rough was fun, it wasn’t the way I wanted to spend my entire life. My life now is so different to what it was just a few short weeks ago!
I was a little sick, so I was put on some medicine for a few weeks and now I’m feeling all good.

I’m a chilled out boy, I don’t really appreciate much of a fuss being made over me, I tend to do my own thing, and when you’re least expecting, I’ll appear from my hiding spot, looking for food most likely. I’m going to need a home with some cool humans, who will give me some space and time to adjust to living life normally. Going so long with minimal human contact has made me slightly wary of humans. It’s something that will of course get better with time and with the right humans.
I get on great with other cats, so a home with another feline would be great!
