Abigail was brought into our care from another shelter. She was extremely underweight and needed treatment for her skin. She was nervous and a little overwhelmed at all the goings on around her. She is now coming out of her shell and showing her amazing sweet personality. She is the sweetest most affectionate girl and she loves to come by your side and nuzzle your hip to check in when she is off lead. Lurchers are one of the most sweetest breeds and are always so gentle no matter how much they are suffering or how frightened they are. They are all legs and love. They are known to be couch potatoes and this is true but only after they have been exercised. Lurchers will happily do 2 walks a day and this should always include zoomie time where they can run off lead in a safe enclosed environment. They burn energy really quickly so after zoomies it's snuggle time with their humans on the couch. Be sure to have time for cuddle time because this is one of their specialties and they are great at it!
