Friday September 16, 2011

The DSPCA Rescue & Rehoming Centre will be closed to the public on Saturday 17th September due to the Doggy Day Out in Marlay Park. Our emergency service will operate as normal. The centre will reopen as normal on Sunday 18th September.

With a variety of events to choose from, such as ‘Scrufts’ the all-inclusive dog competition to a demonstration from Dog Sled Ireland, to Dog Training Sessions with ‘King of Paws’ Alex Pitrelli to doggy speed dating; this canine carnival has something for everyone.

Dogs, owners and the canine curious are invited to attend from midday to take part in the furry fun. The event is part of DSPCA’s efforts to put more fun into the serious business of fundraising as the economic situation continues to take a bite out animal welfare donations.
