The Easter Bunny has arrived early at the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and has left hundreds of Nestlé Easter eggs for people who visit the animal centre this Thursday 21 April.
This Thursday when you visit the DSPCA in Rathfarnham on Mount Venus Road and make a donation of €1 or more, you’ll receive a chocolate Easter egg (while supplies last) and get a chance to win a year’s supply of pet food for your cat or dog, sponsored by Purina Ireland.
Visit the DSPCA Animal Centre and you’ll meet the many animals that are available for adoption and the more than 100 animals that live at the farm sanctuary including cats, goats, ducks, chickens, cows, ponies, sheep, geese, swans, pea hens, peacocks and pigs. The more than 20 friendly staff dogs are always available for a cuddle. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and sweets in our Central Bark Café and it makes for a wonderful day out for the family.
Every year Purina Ireland provides the Animal Centre with more than 34,000 tons (180,000 meals) of Felix, Go Cat, Bakers and Winalot pet foods to feed the more than 4,000 rescued cats, kittens, dogs and puppies that come through the centre each year.
The DSPCA is located on Mount Venus Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. For more information visit www.dspca.ie.
