We could not do our work without this partnership. As Irelands oldest and largest Animal Welfare Charity, founded in 1840, the DSPCA does a lot more than just rehoming. We have helped many thousands of animals, we are at the forefront of fighting abuse, providing education and rescueing sick, injured and cruelly treated animals. If you would like to come and support us at this fantastic event there is still time to register. We are looking forward to seeing lots of dogs at the event, will be a great chance to meet up with other dog owners and like minded animal lovers”
Those wishing to participate can register online at www.dspca.ie. Dogs must be on a leash, with rules and regulations applying. The aim of the Great Irish Dog Walk 2014 is to help raise awareness of the suffering of some animals and to help the DSPCA raise funding to rescue neglected and ill-treated animals. See www.dspca.ie
