4 Puppies seized at Dublin Port this morning

March 06, 2017

This morning a female passenger travelling with four Pugaleer type puppies in carryon hand luggage was stopped by Customs officers boarding a ferry destined for Holyhead, Wales.  The passenger was then interviewed by Department of Agriculture Veterinary Surgeon who requested the required export paperwork for the puppies.  The puppies did not have pet passports nor were they microchipped as required by law. The puppies were consequently seized by the Department Vet and placed in the care of the DSPCA.... Read more
