Animal Care Hours

We have animal care staff caring for the animals 12 hours a day and a caretaker onsite so your pet will be cared for when our office and reception is closed.

Policies

All pets boarded must hold a current vaccination certificate. You must ensure your pet's vaccination does not expire during the boarding timeframe. The inoculation certificate will need to be produced on arrival each time your pets visits our facilities. We regret that your pet will not be admitted without this. It is our policy to refuse entry to any dog or cat that does not have a valid vaccination certificate.
All dogs must be vaccinated against the following:
Kennel Cough + Yearly Vaccinations
For Vaccinations to be valid they must be done at least 14 days prior to their arrival to us.
Kennel Cough is an vaccination injected into the dogs nose and is not part of the yearly booster injection for your dog so please check with your vet if your dog is vaccinated against it.

Pets must be free of parasites including but not limited to fleas.  If parasites are noticed after arrival the pet will be treated accordingly and the owner will be charged for the treatment costs.

Allow 20 minutes at check-in to provide necessary information regarding your pet's health and daily routine.  You can download the Pet Questionnaires to fill in prior to your arrival, don't forget to bring it with you.

Dog Boarding Questionnaire

Cat Boarding Questionnaire

We provide bedding, litter pans, litter, food and water dishes, and food for all dogs and cats boarding with us.  Sudden changes of diet may upset your pets tummy so we do advise bringing your own food.

You are welcome to provide food in a labelled airtight container (Tupperware or Ziploc), please list feed type, amounts and times on the Pet Questionnaire.

Please leave dog beds and blankets at home as we walk your dog in a grass field and due to the lovely Irish weather if your bedding gets wet we cannot leave your damp bedding with your dog so the best thing is to bring an old t-shirt with your scent on it.  We can easily dry this if it gets wet, just make sure it is a t-shirt that you don't mind getting chewed or damaged :-).  Be aware that items may be misplaced during your pet's stay. Please label any belongings and keep your pet's favourite possessions at home.

Please find our booking form here.

We require a non-refundable deposit to hold your booking.  You can pay this by cash, cheque, Laser, Visa & MasterCard.

Full Payment is due upon arrival with your pet. We accept cash, cheque, Laser, Visa & MasterCard.  There cannot be any exceptions.

All cats must arrive in a labelled cat carrier and all dogs must arrive on a lead.  All restricted dog breeds must be muzzled on arrival.

We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any pet we feel may be disruptive to our other guests. These may include, but are not limited to, females in their heat cycle and non-stop barkers. Dogs showing aggression toward the staff may also be refused. We attempt to reduce the stresses on our guests and to do so, at times, we do have to refuse certain pets.

We cannot board sick or injured animals.  If your pet is coughing, sneezing or is exhibiting other signs of possible illness (ex. heavy discharge from eyes, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhoea, breathing difficulties etc.) or has open wounds we cannot not board your pet.

If you are interested in boarding a pet under 20 weeks please contact us to discuss this as each case is dealt with us on a per case basis.

The fee for administering regular medications is part of the boarding fee. We cannot currently board animals that require intravenous/subcutaneous injections or multi-step protocols. All medication needs to be in a clearly marked container (preferably the original container) with the following information: Pet's Name, Name of Medication and Strength, Dosage per day or as needed (let us know at check-in what doses your pet needs that day).

See our full Terms & Conditions.  By making a booking with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, no exceptions can be made.
